Maybe it wasn’t clear outside the window that autumn already come, but we definitely felt it ЁЯТп

September flew by very quickly, and here is what we managed to do during this time:

ЁЯл╢ЁЯП╗ The month began with the provision of school stationery for children. By the way, it is education without new notebooks, pens and other accessories? For 585 IDP children (96 of whom are children from 4 shelters and the Mother and Baby House), the school year began with new pages and new emotions тЬПя╕ПЁЯУЪ

ЁЯл╢ЁЯП╗ We conducted 8 children’s events and together with 163 children created memories about:

ЁЯзТЁЯП╗ Cinema travels together with your favorite @planetakino and cartoons “Ninja Turtles” and “Marmaduke”. Traditionally, at these meetings, we were crunching our favorite popcorn and making new friends ЁЯУ╜я╕ПЁЯОЮя╕П

ЁЯСзЁЯП╝ Real space adventures. No, not yet in outer space, but in the @planetarium_noosphere. But emotions were no less impressive: an interesting excursion, interactive exhibits, space secrets, and an educational film. And how can you not want to become an astronaut after that? We don’t know either, and that’s why we saw with our own eyes the future generation of conquerors of the universeЁЯЪАЁЯкР

ЁЯзТЁЯП╗ Charity lunch together with @mcdonaldsukraine, where children were able to distract themselves from the news and just be children, who only cared about one thing – what is inside the Happy Meal ЁЯСА

ЁЯСзЁЯП╝ 2 wonderful workshops on making soy candles from @aselisa_candles, where children created something with their own hands that will remind them of Dnipro, our team, and warm with kind memories for a very long time ЁЯл╢ЁЯП╗ЁЯлВ

ЁЯзТЁЯП╗ Dived into the magical world of the Madrigal family during musical performance “Encanto” by @goldenkids_ukraine and enjoyed the world created by children on the stage for children in the hall ЁЯСнЁЯСмЁЯСл

ЁЯСзЁЯП╝ Became a part of the all-Ukrainian Pano “Ukraine is the Eldorado of the future” by Pascal Wlsteland, which was created by children all over the country to remind the whole world about the war and the horror they feel today ЁЯлВЁЯОи

ЁЯл╢ЁЯП╗ We finished with the group of 11 talented children from the “School of Little Van Goghs”, who are ready to conquer the art world with their masterpieces ЁЯзСЁЯП╗тАНЁЯОи

ЁЯл╢ЁЯП╗ We supported our smallest citizens during the “Babies” day. 27 babies received food, diapers, clothes and everything necessary to grow healthy ЁЯС╢ЁЯП╗

ЁЯл╢ЁЯП╗ The Rise of Ukraine team, together with the German professional doctor Miguel Looft, conducted training on providing first aid to 17 people. Of course, we all hope that this knowledge will remain only a theory in our heads, but we still need to be prepared for any situation ЁЯТкЁЯП╗

ЁЯл╢ЁЯП╗ Front-line assistance was handed over to our guardian angels in the form of 4 tablets, 10 first-aid kits and 20 turnstiles.

ЁЯл╢ЁЯП╗ Our team members are also continuously learning to help even better. This month we attended two trainings: “HEAT” from Spearfish, “Livelihood Fundamentals” from IOM, and first aid training from German paramedic Miguel Looft ЁЯСКЁЯП╗ЁЯСМЁЯП╗

Every day we work intending to help. Although almost all our efforts are currently focused on repairing of our HUB for the children of IDPs and civilians damaged by the war, we forget about our beloved babies and everyone who needs our help.

We build, repair, create, teach, develop, entertain and always believe.

We believe in Victory together with Rise ЁЯТЩЁЯТЫ

Dream Championship: How Football Helped Raise UAH 300,000 for Children’s Summer Camp
Sometimes the most important score of a match is not displayed on the scoreboard. You can see it in the people who come together around a shared purpose. In the donations made between halves. In teams that step onto the field for more than just victory. And in children’s dreams that become a little closer […]

The Team That Holds the Process Together
The Team That Holds the Process Together Charitable organizations tend to talk about outcomes. The number of aid deliveries, the volume of assistance provided, the projects completed. Far less often does the focus fall on the people behind those processes — the ones who weave them into the fabric of daily work. At Rise of […]

PROSTONEBA: An Experience That Translates Into Results The PROSTONEBA festival, which the Rise of Ukraine team has been hosting for several consecutive years, has gradually taken shape as an event with a clear internal logic. While its details and content evolve from year to year, it holds on to what matters most — the combination […]

How Changes in Space Transform Everyday Life: the Rise of Shelter Project in Dnipro
In Dnipro, there is a place where people learn how to move forward after being forced to relocate. The “Dzherelo Pidtrymky” shelter has been hosting internally displaced persons for nearly four years and, for many, has become a temporary home. With the financial support of Hungarian Interchurch Aid, we implemented the Rise of Shelter project […]

Fedir: An Experience That Has to Be Accepted and Lived Through
Fedir Samburskyi, call sign “Shkiper,” speaks about his journey without any attempt to simplify it or frame it through easy formulas. For him, this experience does not add up to a single story that can be briefly retold — it looks more like a sequence of decisions and states that a person has to remain […]

Pavlo: A Story About a Childhood That Has to Be Rebuilt
Pavlo is eleven. He is from Kharkiv — a city where a significant part of his life remains: training sessions, performances, first victories, and the familiar environment that shapes a child far more than it might seem. Before the full-scale invasion, his days were filled with activity. He sang, competed in regional contests, won prizes, […]
Balloons That Survived the War
Balloons That Survived the War
Before the war, Liudmyla Vynnyk lived in a small town called Novovorontsovka in the Kherson region. The kind of place where people know each other by name, where celebrations always begin with decorated halls, children’s smiles, and colorful balloons drifting slowly up toward the ceiling. Those balloons became her life’s work. As far back as […]
