We are rebuilding childcare facilities, educational and medical institutions, and other public infrastructure that has been damaged by bombing or occupation. We are creating spaces and fostering safe environments to support people's development and recovery.
How it worked
Focus areas
To comprehensively support the affected population of Kherson region in the most affected communities by providing people with clothes, medicines, hygiene products, food, drinking water, and other essentials.
At least 500 people received assistance. The project was implemented in cooperation with the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Start reconstruction of a kindergarten in Kalynivske village (Kherson region) to speed up its recovery and allow children to study there.
A mission was conducted to clean the kindergarten in the Kalynivka community after the occupation. The team cleaned the local kindergarten, which had been a position of Russian soldiers. Local residents joined the project activities.
To equip a Montessori children’s room for preschool children in the YaMariupol hostel, creating a safe, educational space for play and learning.
The Fund has created a full-fledged play space: the room is painted, equipped with furniture and educational materials that support children’s development, creativity and learning through play.
Improvement of living conditions of IDPs in the shelter ‘Dzherelo Podderzhki’ (Dnipro) through the provision of NFI and minimal repairs.
Kitchens, sanitary conditions and storage in the shelter were improved, which reduced domestic tension and increased the comfort of 170 IDPs.
To create conditions for the support and development of children with special needs in Kryvyi Rih district by arranging spaces for speech therapy and psychocorrectional work.
The result will be equipped specialised spaces that will remain in the use of the community and provide a long-term effect for children, including vulnerable groups.
Strengthening of personal protection and security conditions in the educational institution of Kochubeev community in Kherson region.
About 300 people were covered by improved security conditions; 65 protection kits were transferred to the community and a security system was installed in the school.
