Every day, Ukrainians learn to be stronger, more united, and adapt to new realities. This is now our superpower ЁЯж╕ЁЯП╗

And today we are all incredibly supportive of each other and are always happy to share our own experiences to make someone else’s journey easier ЁЯдМЁЯП╗

And to inspire even more for new achievements, with the support of @yednanniazaradydii, a workshop was held at @gogol.hub. Here, 3 incredible speakers told us what they had to go through with their relocated business to start working again in Dnipro ЁЯлВ.

And here are impressions shared with us:

ЁЯСйЁЯП╗ Olena Kucheruk, who is from Kramatorsk. She is the head of @ngoshift and Founder Art Working, a business club for owners of relocated businesses @check_in_showroom, the check-in Dnipro festival, and she is also the founder of the clothing company @promka.ua ЁЯл╢ЁЯП╗

ЁЯСйЁЯП╗ Lyudmyla Vynnyk, an IDP from Kherson region. She is the owner of @lucia_decor_dp, a business that helps our holidays become brighter by selling helium balloons, developing photo zones, and balloon crafts ЁЯОИ

ЁЯСйЁЯП╗ Anastasiia Zakrevska from Donetsk, founder of 2 confectioneries “Arte la Tortas” and knows exactly how to make life a little sweeter ЁЯН░

In addition, they shared how to get funding for their business: loans from the state or city, and grant programs ЁЯУЭ.

They also added that before launching a relocated business, they had to bring their lives into a stable state: think about an action plan, start working with a psychologist, and find a permanent house ЁЯСМЁЯП╗

They also shared their own mistakes. Because we are all human, and this gives us experience and an example for others.

We also discussed taxes, accounting, how to deal with employees and the path to a stable, relocated business.

The workshop was attended not only by IDPs, but also by residents of Dnipro, which provided even more support. And we were happy to receive such feedback:

ЁЯЧг Olena “This is my first time at such a meeting, and I am incredibly grateful to the organisers for this opportunity. Today I got motivated to go further, inspired by the success of others and made new acquaintances. The whole day was dominated by a relaxed and easy atmosphere of communication. I am looking forward to other similar events.”

We would like to thank everyone who attended the event and @gogol.hub for their wonderful location, delicious coffee break and lunch for all participants ЁЯдМЁЯП╗

This event was made possible by the “Uniting for Action” program, implemented by IREX with the support of the U.S. Department of State. The contents are the sole responsibility of Rise of the South and do not necessarily reflect the views of IREX or the U.S. Department of State.
