How Rise and kids went on an excursion to the Olympic reserves
While the whole world is watching Euro 2024, we decided that we needed to show the kids the history of Ukrainian sport 🏅
Together with the children of IDPs, military personnel and those who lost one or two parents because of the war, we went on an excursion to the Olympic Reserves 😍
We were met by Oleksandr Pshenychnykov, Executive Director of the NOC of Ukraine in Dnipro region, and had an interesting trip through the Museum of Olympic Glory of Dnipro region 🤩
We were just delighted to see how many sports talents our land has grown 🤌🏻
And our stars were not left without gifts. Together with the Executive Director of the Football Federation of Dnipro Kateryna Batura, each little guest received something special to remember this meeting from the FFMD and the NOC branch 🎁
And we also met the incredible coach of the Spirit of soccer project Marina Zhuravleva, who invited us to a real football field, where she conducted a training session 🥅
And so the favourite children’s fun began 😁
But it was not only football exercises, but also a useful story about explosive devices and how to behave in case of encountering landmines and unexploded ordnance 👌🏻
It is a pity that in our realities we have to tell kids such things, but this information can save lives 🫂
This wonderful project is being implemented in Ukraine by the Amateur Football Association of Ukraine together with the international organisation Spirit of Soccer and with the support of the US Department of State and is one of the programmes aimed at reducing the possible consequences of the dangerous and illegally proliferated use of military weapons in the civilian environment 👏🏻
Everything will be Rise 💙💛
