A year ago, none of our team could have imagined this day or that we would have such a wonderful new home ЁЯПа

A space where children of IDPs, military personnel and children who have lost one of their parents to war will be able to develop their talents, attend interesting workshops and various events, and find new friends тШ║я╕П

It all started with a big, slightly crazy dream. And as soon as this thought was sent to the Universe, we started to act ЁЯШО

Our bright, musical and huge in terms of sincerity (but not in terms of quantity, although it is only for now) Prosto Neba Fest in the summer of 2023, which helped to loudly announce our plan and raise part of the necessary amount for the HAB ЁЯЩМЁЯП╗

And now, in February 2024, we are officially opening our doors ЁЯе│

Thanks to a bright sign, you can see where the light lives right from the street тЬи

And inside there is a whole universe: 3 modern classrooms, a cinema hall, an art studio, a gym (here we stay during air raid alerts) and a room where our team does good deeds ЁЯСА

Today you can come to us at:
ЁЯзСЁЯП╗тАНЁЯОи Art course “School of little Van Goghs”
ЁЯкР Astronomy course from @planetarium_noosphere
ЁЯЧгя╕П English course from @esl_dp

Officially, the red ribbon was cut, many photos were taken, and this happy moment of opening was shared with partners, international donors and people close to our hearts ЁЯлВ

And to make our journey sweeter, everyone was treated to a cake ЁЯШЛ

We are grateful to everyone who supported us, believed in our crazy plans and joined this important project. We sincerely hope that within these walls all the horrors of war will be forgotten and only happiness and fun will reign ЁЯЩМЁЯП╗

Everything will be with Rise ЁЯТЩЁЯТЫ

Dream Championship: How Football Helped Raise UAH 300,000 for Children’s Summer Camp
Sometimes the most important score of a match is not displayed on the scoreboard. You can see it in the people who come together around a shared purpose. In the donations made between halves. In teams that step onto the field for more than just victory. And in children’s dreams that become a little closer […]

The Team That Holds the Process Together
The Team That Holds the Process Together Charitable organizations tend to talk about outcomes. The number of aid deliveries, the volume of assistance provided, the projects completed. Far less often does the focus fall on the people behind those processes — the ones who weave them into the fabric of daily work. At Rise of […]

PROSTONEBA: An Experience That Translates Into Results The PROSTONEBA festival, which the Rise of Ukraine team has been hosting for several consecutive years, has gradually taken shape as an event with a clear internal logic. While its details and content evolve from year to year, it holds on to what matters most — the combination […]

How Changes in Space Transform Everyday Life: the Rise of Shelter Project in Dnipro
In Dnipro, there is a place where people learn how to move forward after being forced to relocate. The “Dzherelo Pidtrymky” shelter has been hosting internally displaced persons for nearly four years and, for many, has become a temporary home. With the financial support of Hungarian Interchurch Aid, we implemented the Rise of Shelter project […]

Fedir: An Experience That Has to Be Accepted and Lived Through
Fedir Samburskyi, call sign “Shkiper,” speaks about his journey without any attempt to simplify it or frame it through easy formulas. For him, this experience does not add up to a single story that can be briefly retold — it looks more like a sequence of decisions and states that a person has to remain […]

Pavlo: A Story About a Childhood That Has to Be Rebuilt
Pavlo is eleven. He is from Kharkiv — a city where a significant part of his life remains: training sessions, performances, first victories, and the familiar environment that shapes a child far more than it might seem. Before the full-scale invasion, his days were filled with activity. He sang, competed in regional contests, won prizes, […]
Balloons That Survived the War
Balloons That Survived the War
Before the war, Liudmyla Vynnyk lived in a small town called Novovorontsovka in the Kherson region. The kind of place where people know each other by name, where celebrations always begin with decorated halls, children’s smiles, and colorful balloons drifting slowly up toward the ceiling. Those balloons became her life’s work. As far back as […]
