Bye, bye, winter! ЁЯе╢

We promise we won’t miss you too much ЁЯШЬ

But traditionally, we will tell you the results of the team’s work in February:

ЁЯОн We plunged into the theatre world with 81 children and 65 IDP parents. We managed to watch two very different performances: “Shrek” and “Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka”. But everyone will have the same mood after them – enchanted тЬи Thank you @yunist_dnipra for giving us these unforgettable moments.

ЁЯПа Our Habchyk is already in full swing ЁЯдМЁЯП╗ Life here is in full swing every day, just as we dreamed. In February, we managed to hold 4 workshops for 47 IDP children together with @psychologist_dnepr_lolita_geta. They made anti-stress toys and shoppers with their own hands.

ЁЯлВ We delivered 83 humanitarian kits to 83 families of our military personnel with children and babies who lost their parents due to the war. In this way, we support those who are going through a difficult time and remind them that they are not alone at this time.

ЁЯТкЁЯП╗ With the support of the international humanitarian organisation INTERSOS and the Ukrainian Humanitarian Foundation (UHF), we visited villages that are very difficult to reach with a humanitarian mission: Zhovte, Novovitebske, Novovasylivka, Novopodilske, Ukrainka, Sadove, Pavlivka, Marjivka, Novi Kovnya, Odrubok, Bazavluchok, Vakulove, Petropavlivka, Yavdogivka, Novooleksiyivka and Kalashnyky.

We brought warm blankets and delivered them to 163 people with IDP status, disabilities and aged 80+

ЁЯСйЁЯП╗тАНЁЯПл We did a lot of studying with children. Over the past month, we held 37 different classes in such courses: “School of Little Van Goghs”, English, astronomy and geometric wood carving by @jmen_fenomen

тП│ Once again we conquered the element of sand, this time with 26 children. The colour and shapes may change, but not our enthusiasm for this process together with the sand fairies @kolora.family.dp

ЁЯкР We planned our way to the stars and learnt space secrets from @planetarium_noosphere with 38 children and adults.

ЁЯНн We raised our sugar level at a lollipop making workshop by @zuckerwill_ua. And thanks to incendiary dances from our Alenka, 36 kids also received an additional dose of endorphins ЁЯе░

ЁЯНЯ Had a delicious lunch at @mcdonaldsukraine with 25 kids. Each of them received not only happy emotions, but also a Happy Meal with a wonderful toy

ЁЯЦ╝я╕П We painted at a sensual Valentine’s Day workshop with 20 female military and IDPs. Each of them depicted hands touching each other and added their own personal details.

ЁЯСитАНЁЯСйтАНЁЯСж Conducted 3 information sessions for 19 IDP parents, where we told them about the age-related peculiarities of children’s development

ЁЯСйЁЯП╝тАНЁЯТ╗ Our team, as always, did not sit still and managed to attend the following trainings and events:

  • Online event from UHF

“Grant programmes”

  • IOM training “Livelihood Fundamentals”
  • “Training for service providers in the field of child protection on combating human trafficking”
  • Subnational meeting of the KSFM partners in the Dnipro region
  • Enhanced proposal planning through the use of international humanitarian data and evidence
  • National coordination meeting of the Food Security and Livelihoods Cluster (FSC) partners
  • Progressive Leadership training
  • Training “Start your own business”

That’s it, we are ready to welcome spring!

We are preparing something new together with Rise ЁЯТЩЁЯТЫ

Rise of Ukraine and the Dnipro District Military Administration Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation
In times of full-scale war, supporting people and communities requires a united effort. No single organization can address all the challenges facing Ukrainian society today. Dream Championship: How Football Helped Raise UAH 300,000 for Children’s Summer Camp
Sometimes the most important score of a match is not displayed on the scoreboard. You can see it in the people who come together around a shared purpose. In the donations made between halves. In teams that step onto the field for more than just victory. And in children’s dreams that become a little closer […]

The Team That Holds the Process Together
The Team That Holds the Process Together Charitable organizations tend to talk about outcomes. The number of aid deliveries, the volume of assistance provided, the projects completed. How Changes in Space Transform Everyday Life: the Rise of Shelter Project in Dnipro
In Dnipro, there is a place where people learn how to move forward after being forced to relocate. The “Dzherelo Pidtrymky” shelter has been hosting internally displaced persons for nearly four years and, for many, has become a temporary home. With the financial support of Hungarian Interchurch Aid, we implemented the Rise of Shelter project […]
