Sometimes the most important score of a match is not displayed on the scoreboard.

You can see it in the people who come together around a shared purpose. In the donations made between halves. In teams that step onto the field for more than just victory. And in children’s dreams that become a little closer to reality because of it.

That is exactly what the Dream Championship charity football tournament became — an event organized by Rise of Ukraine in partnership with AVTOMOTIV.

The goal was simple but incredibly important: to raise funds for a summer sports camp for children from vulnerable backgrounds.

The initial fundraising target was UAH 200,000.

Together, we raised UAH 300,000.

And sometimes, a number speaks for itself.

Football That United Dnipro’s Business Community

The Dream Championship brought together Dnipro-based businesses around a shared social mission through a charity mini-football tournament.

Four teams took to the field:

  • AVTOMOTIV
  • Work.ua
  • Biosphere
  • Mova Brewing Co

Even before the opening whistle, each company made a charitable contribution to support the future camp. Throughout the day, guests, partners, and supporters continued to contribute, turning a sporting competition into a true team effort for children.

More Than Just a Football Tournament

While football was at the heart of the event, the day was about much more than sport.

The funds raised will support a summer sports camp for children from vulnerable groups, including internally displaced children, children of military personnel and veterans, children of fallen defenders, and young people whose lives have been deeply affected by the war.

For many of them, the camp will offer an opportunity to experience something different: to make new friends, play sports, enjoy the swimming pool, participate in team activities, and spend part of their summer in a safe and supportive environment.

That is why the true result of the Dream Championship was never measured by goals scored. It was measured by the opportunity to give children the summer they deserve.

A Day Full of Energy and Emotion

The matches were genuinely exciting. There were spectacular goals, competitive spirit, friendly banter between teams, and enthusiastic support from the stands.

Even the rain could not dampen the atmosphere. Despite the weather, people stayed, cheered, and continued donating.

A special highlight of the event was the awards ceremony attended by renowned Ukrainian footballer Yevhen Seleznov.

During the event, two footballs signed by Seleznov were auctioned for charity. Both were purchased through donations of UAH 50,000 each, making a significant contribution to the overall fundraising result.

When Business Creates Opportunities

One of the core values behind the Dream Championship was collaboration.

By bringing together businesses, partners, guests, and the organizing team, we were able not only to reach our fundraising goal but to significantly exceed it.

The event was supported by media partners DniproMedia, ProDnipro, and Misto i Richka. Morshynska joined as the official water partner, while Chai Graff and Funt Coffee helped create a welcoming atmosphere for participants and guests.

Each partner became part of a collective effort whose impact extends far beyond the amount raised. It is measured by the opportunities that children will receive as a result.

UAH 300,000 That Will Become Childhood Memories

For some, this number represents a fundraising result.

For us, it represents future memories.

Memories of new friendships, sporting achievements, evening conversations, swimming pool adventures, team games, and moments that children will carry with them for years to come.

We sincerely thank AVTOMOTIV, all participating teams, partners, guests, and everyone who supported the Dream Championship through their donations.

Because of you, summer is becoming a reality for children who need it most.

And that means the most important victory of the day has already been achieved.

Everyday life is full of sounds that people usually don’t even notice.
