You don’t have to be big to do great things.

Apostolove is a small frontline town that gathered all its strength and courage during the reoccupation of the Kherson region and left no one without humanitarian, medical and legal assistance ЁЯТкЁЯП╗

On one day, the aggressor country divided the lives of the townspeople into “before” and “after” – when the town was subjected to a damaging attack that destroyed almost all educational institutions.

“Our new lyceum, which had just been renovated, was completely destroyed. It’s hard to imagine that there could have been children here and it would have had terrible consequences,” says one of the parents, Tatiana.

The doctors here also worked hard every day with injured soldiers who were brought back from difficult and fierce battles.

“Back then, we all practically lived in the hospital, from the accountant to the chief doctor. It was very hard to look at the young guys and realize that they could never live like they used to,” recalls Liudmyla, one of the medical staff members.

“The Rise of Ukraine Charity Foundation is constantly helping doctors, because they save lives every minute, and without our help, they may be left without the necessary medicines and tools at any moment. Because the flow of those who need treatment is endless and uninterrupted, and there are not enough resources on our own.

This time, thanks to our French partners, Union des ukrainiens en Bretagne,Solidarit├й Bretagne-Ukraine and AFUCA, we have delivered to the Apostolivska City Hospital  bandages, Hollister hydrophilic intermittent catheterization probes, hydrophilic disposable catheters and solution (water, salt), glucometer, infusion systems, resuscitation systems, compresses, plasters, children’s stoma bags, stoma bags, urinary bags, venous and subcutaneous infusion kits, postoperative wound care kits, surgical instrumentation, ostomy plates, body wash gloves, saline, syringes, Bionolyte G5, a wheelchair toilet, medical ducks and antiseptics, which amounted to a total of 3,598 units of medical supplies and medicines.

Every time our team goes on a new humanitarian mission, our hearts break with pain, horror, and helplessness. We realize that there is no safe place in Ukraine as long as at least one enemy is on our land. But we do our best to help the military, doctors and ordinary Ukrainians and bring our Victory closer.

Everything will be with Rise ЁЯТЩЁЯТЫ

The Team That Holds the Process Together
The Team That Holds the Process Together Charitable organizations tend to talk about outcomes. The number of aid deliveries, the volume of assistance provided, the projects completed. How Changes in Space Transform Everyday Life: the Rise of Shelter Project in Dnipro
In Dnipro, there is a place where people learn how to move forward after being forced to relocate. The “Dzherelo Pidtrymky” shelter has been hosting internally displaced persons for nearly four years and, for many, has become a temporary home. With the financial support of Hungarian Interchurch Aid, we implemented the Rise of Shelter project […]

Fedir: An Experience That Has to Be Accepted and Lived Through
Fedir Samburskyi, call sign “Shkiper,” speaks about his journey without any attempt to simplify it or frame it through easy formulas. For him, this experience does not add up to a single story that can be briefly retold — it looks more like a sequence of decisions and states that a person has to remain […]

Pavlo: A Story About a Childhood That Has to Be Rebuilt
Pavlo is eleven. He is from Kharkiv — a city where a significant part of his life remains: training sessions, performances, first victories, and the familiar environment that shapes a child far more than it might seem. Before the full-scale invasion, his days were filled with activity. He sang, competed in regional contests, won prizes, […]

Balloons That Survived the War
Before the war, Liudmyla Vynnyk lived in a small town called Novovorontsovka in the Kherson region. The kind of place where people know each other by name, where celebrations always begin with decorated halls, children’s smiles, and colorful balloons drifting slowly up toward the ceiling. Those balloons became her life’s work. As far back as […]

A Hearing Aid and a New Chapter in Artem’s Life
Everyday life is full of sounds that people usually don’t even notice. The rustle of grass underfoot, children’s laughter in the yard, quiet conversations at home, or the familiar voice of a mother speaking to her child. For most of us, these things are so natural that we almost never stop to think about them. […]
