Rise of Shelter: comfort for everyone!

Imagine a place where you can feel warmth, care, and genuine support even in the most difficult times. This is exactly what two shelters in Dnipro, which our team turned into corners of comfort as part of the «Rise of Shelter» project, have become. And now they are not just temporary shelters – they are real homes for those in need.

What did we do?

🛋 In the HUB of the Children New Generation charity foundation:

  • Installed a freezer so that the shelter always has enough food for all residents.
  • We added 6 tables and 3 comfortable sofas to make everyone feel comfortable.

🛏 In the shelter, a volunteer center for evacuees from eastern and southern Ukraine  «Гостина»:

  • We donated 120 sets of bed linen so that everyone could fall asleep in warmth.
  • We also donated 120 soft blankets that will keep everyone warm even on the coldest evenings.

For people forced to leave their homes because of the war, a shelter is not just a roof over their heads. It is a place where they seek safety, peace and hope. We understand how important the little things are – a cozy corner to relax, a warm blanket, the ability to store food.

Thanks to the «Rise of Shelter» project, we have created conditions that help people get through difficult moments with dignity and comfort.

The shared magic of goodness

This became possible thanks to our cooperation with our partners, the Hungarian Interchurch Aid. Your support is a real miracle that we have felt in every new table, blanket or sofa.

Together we prove that even in the darkest times it is possible to create light and share goodness.

We are grateful to everyone who helped to implement this project and remind you that together we can do even more.
Let’s create comfort and hope together with Rise! 💙💛

«The project was implemented with the financial support of the Hungarian Interchurch Aid».

How Changes in Space Transform Everyday Life: the Rise of Shelter Project in Dnipro
In Dnipro, there is a place where people learn how to move forward after being forced to relocate. With the financial support of Hungarian Interchurch Aid, we implemented the Rise of Shelter project […]
