Zero Tolerance for Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

Zero Tolerance for Sexual Exploitation and Abuse - Rise of Ukraine

Sexual exploitation – any actual or attempted abuse of a position of vulnerability, power or trust for the purpose of obtaining benefit (material, social or political) through sexual exploitation of another person.

Sexual abuse – any actual or attempted abuse of a position of vulnerability, power or trust for the purpose of obtaining sexual services, including, but not limited to, committing acts or threatening to commit acts of a sexual nature against sexual integrity in unequal conditions or under conditions of coercion, with the use of force (including non-contact interaction and committing acts of sexual exploitation and abuse in cyberspace).
Note: any acts of a sexual nature involving children (persons under 18 years of age) are sexual abuse.
“Rise of Ukraine” has adopted and implements a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual exploitation and abuse. This policy provides for strict accountability measures for all staff, including UN agency staff and engaged staff and partner organizations, both internationally and locally, for taking appropriate action.

If you have witnessed or participated in sexual violence at Rise of Ukraine events, please report it to us anonymously at the link https://forms.gle/q6qUBDfXLuMWkNib8
