It is important to adapt to a new place not only for children but also for adults. Their lives have changed and now they have to build everything from scratch ๐ ๐
The Rise of Ukraine Charitable Foundation cares not only about children. Now, within the framework of the “Unite for Action” program, 3 areas have been launched for IDPs and wives of military personnel over 30 years old:
๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ซ Ukrainian Conversation Club: here you can improve your knowledge of the Ukrainian language and learn something new about your native language. Thanks to the relaxed, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere, the classes accompanied by a facilitator captured each of the participants so much that they did not even notice how time passed ๐๐๐ป
๐ซ Liudmyla: “I want to improve my pronunciation, I’m tired of speaking dialeัt. I hope that regular meetings in this club will give the desired result. The atmosphere is very positive and the lessons are interesting. Thank you for everything.”
๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ซ English Conversation Club: In today’s world, it is very difficult to live without knowledge of foreign languages. Ukrainians experienced this when they were forced to go to other countries to escape the war. That is why such lessons are very important for adults today. Here you can learn and improve your English communication skills with the help of a facilitator ๐ฃ๐ค
๐ฉ๐ปโ๐จ Masterclass in painting on canvas: on the eve of the spring holiday, a real flower ball was held in our HUB. Here, each of the women revealed their artistic talent and tried something new for themselves – bright tulips and irises in their new home will remind them of the time we spent together ๐ท
๐ซ Nadiia: “Thank you to the Rise of Ukraine team for this wonderful opportunity to escape from the terrible everyday life. It was an incredible time with new people, interesting activities, and a beautiful place!”
Thanks to such events, 37 IDP women living in Dnipro, Dnipro shelter residents and military spouses were able to integrate into the new community, feel social cohesion and stabilize their psycho-emotional stat ๐ซถ๐ป
