On every trip, we see the same thing: eyes that are waiting. Not for miracles, but simply for warmth and ordinary human care. And that is exactly what we try to bring along with our humanitarian aid.

As part of the Rise for Help project, we traveled to the most remote corners of Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions — where roads are washed out, electricity disappears for long periods of time, and aid hardly ever reaches. But people are there. They are waiting. And they deserve support.

We brought: – Energy kits for large families: power banks, blankets, thermoses, flashlights, and even Twister — because warmth and a little joy should be close at hand; – WASH kits and warm blankets for people with disabilities; – Assistance for single parents — to stay connected, even when darkness surrounds them.

💬 “This category of people with disabilities is not fully protected, so any kind of help is relevant. Especially now,” says Viktoria Lavrova, deputy head of the Shyroke community.
💬 “This is the first time such assistance has been provided, which is very necessary for people when there is no light,” adds Yulia Ivanivna, a social work specialist at the Raivska village council.
💬 And the head of the Lyubyanskyi starosta district, Lyudmila Grechko, says sincerely: “Everyone is tired of the situation. People need support. And caring for them is our sacred duty.”

We cannot change everything at once. But we can be there for them. And we will be 🫂

Together with you — together with Rise! 💙💛

Rise of Ukraine and the Dnipro District Military Administration Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation
In times of full-scale war, supporting people and communities requires a united effort. No single organization can address all the challenges facing Ukrainian society today. Dream Championship: How Football Helped Raise UAH 300,000 for Children’s Summer Camp
Sometimes the most important score of a match is not displayed on the scoreboard. You can see it in the people who come together around a shared purpose. In the donations made between halves. In teams that step onto the field for more than just victory. And in children’s dreams that become a little closer […]

The Team That Holds the Process Together
The Team That Holds the Process Together Charitable organizations tend to talk about outcomes. The number of aid deliveries, the volume of assistance provided, the projects completed. Far less often does the focus fall on the people behind those processes — the ones who weave them into the fabric of daily work. At Rise of […]

How Changes in Space Transform Everyday Life: the Rise of Shelter Project in Dnipro
In Dnipro, there is a place where people learn how to move forward after being forced to relocate. The “Dzherelo Pidtrymky” shelter has been hosting internally displaced persons for nearly four years and, for many, has become a temporary home. With the financial support of Hungarian Interchurch Aid, we implemented the Rise of Shelter project […]

Fedir Samburskyi, call sign “Shkiper,” speaks about his journey without any attempt to simplify it or frame it through easy formulas.
