Superheroes in helmets – or how we help those who save lives every day!

They say that not all heroes wear capes – sometimes they come with flashing lights, wear bulletproof vests and have a fire extinguisher ready. This is exactly what our rescuers from Kharkiv region are like 💪🏻

As part of the Emergency Preparedness project, the Rise of Ukraine team has delivered the necessary equipment to the local fire brigade in the Bezlyudivska community, as well as to firefighters and volunteers from the Pisochynska community.
And believe me, these are not just boxes, they are support, protection and a chance for a safer tomorrow.

What did we send: radios, body armor, first aid kits, helmets, protective suits, oxygen tanks, fire extinguishers, multitools – everything that will help the guys act quickly, confidently and without risking their own lives.

Rescuers in Kharkiv region do not have “days off”. Their vehicles respond to 5+ calls every day: these are not only fires, but also shelling aftermath, search for explosive devices in the forests, and help during destruction. And every time they go where everyone else is running away from.

That is why proper equipment is not just an inventory, but a real life shield for those who protect the safety of communities.
