Everyday life of volunteers: what our team thinks and feels while working at Rise of Ukraine

We are all so different: we have different ages, backgrounds, we feel and see this world differently, but we are united by a desire to help. And that is why we have gathered at Rise of Ukraine ЁЯлВ

Today we will get to know three members of our team a little better and find out how they feel and what they think about working for the charity. 

Katia Barbashyna, Partnerships Manager

Every day is different from the previous one, and every new task is interesting and very active. And it’s a thrill. Thanks to this, I gain personal and professional experience. And a lot of new knowledge, of course. I am proud that I am contributing to the future of Ukraine and that I am a part of a great mission. In addition, I feel calmer when I do something that brings our victory closer. It’s a pleasure to work with the Rise team because they will always support your idea and help you become better. I feel that I am definitely in my place.┬а

I’m in a place where you are always ready to help those who really need it, and I’m glad that this is my job. People around you should encourage you to become better and push you to new heights. And these are the people who are next to me in the Rise team. Each of us is important, has a mission and does everything for the sake of people. And we always welcome new like-minded people with big and kind hearts.

Working here is very important to me. Not only do I use my skills and experience to benefit others, but I actually make a difference in the lives of people and communities. At Rise of Ukraine, I have the opportunity to improve myself and develop my skills, such as project management, diverse communication, and problem-solving. Yes, sometimes it’s hard, but that’s normal, we’re all human. But it’s great to work in such a team.┬а

We are very pleased to have the opportunity to talk not only about our work, but also to introduce our team to the world. Because it is thanks to their work, courage and kind hearts that all the things we keep talking about are happening.
